FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY STUDENTS

  1. I have made a compulsory payment before the review would I be refunded the difference?
    Returning Students who have paid N23,500  as compulsory fee before the change to N15,000 should note that they have already made a payment of N8,000, which covers Jamb Regularization  and Result Verification One-Off payment. Others who are just making payment of N15,000 will make the remaining N8,000 compulsory payment before graduation.

  2. How do I have access to my e-wallet ?
    Log in to your profile and Click on MY E-Wallet Menu by the left side of the page

  3. How do I print my e-wallet details from the Old Portal?
    Log in to your profile and Click on MY E-Wallet Menu by the left side of the page and Print the Page

  4. I have a balance in my previous e-wallet account on the Old Portal, how can it be transferred to this new portal?
    Visit your study center with evidence of payment and hold on while it is being processed. All such cases are collated in batches and directed to the appropriate channel for verification before reflecting in your new profile on this portal

  5. I have paid for application/Registration  via E-Transact and this new portal is rejecting the PIN
    Visit the study center with all evidence of payment and hold on while it is being processed. All such cases are collated in batches and directed to the appropriate channel for verification before necessary action is taken.

  6. I can’t Log in as a Returning student
    You will have to sign up as a first timer on this new portal, log on to www.noun.edu.ng click on returning students and read all the information on the page carefully OR click directly on this link http://www.noun.edu.ng/Signon.aspx  to sign up and later sign in with your supplied information. Matric NO. and Password as required on the portal.

  7. I am a returning student I don’t have a clearance code
    As a Returning student, you don’t need a clearance code, use your matric number

  8. Do I need a new matric number to carry out student tasks on this new portal
    NO! your Matric number is still valid, all you need do is to signup first (See FAQ - 9 Above).

  9. I have signed up successfully as a Student  but when I tried to log in its rejecting my password
    Click on forgot password link, enter your matric number,  your password will be displayed to you online immediately and at the same time send a copy to your email address.

  10. I can’t view my registrable courses on this new portal
    What Level are you? Check your current level, if not correct lodge the complaint through your study center for change of Level and hold on while it is being processed. All such cases are collated in batches and directed to the appropriate channel for verification before reflecting in your new profile on this portal

  11. My Current level is not correct or  is showing Zero (0)

  12. I mistakenly register for a course, I want to drop it

  13. My date of birth is not correct on the new portal
    Apply for change of Date of Birth through your study center and hold on while it is being processed. All such cases are collated in batches and directed to the appropriate channel for verification before reflecting in your new profile on this portal

  14. The portal is rejecting my matric number
    Try signup as a first timer on this new portal, log on to www.noun.edu.ng click on  returning students and read all the information on the page carefully OR click directly on this link http://www.noun.edu.ng/Signon.aspx  to signup and later sign in with your supplied information. Matric NO. and Password as required on the portal. If Problem persist  email to support@noun.edu.ng.

  15. I am trying to sign-up as an Applicant; the system is telling me password not match
    Enter the same password in the first and second password box, it is for verification purpose

  16. My TMAs are missing

1. How do I print my application form on the Old Portal?
Log in to your application profile and click on Print Application Form

2. I have applied for admission in NOUN before this new portal was created, How do I know the status of my Admission?
Visit www.noun.edu.ng  and click on Admission list to enter your application form number or your name to print your admission letter, OR click on this link http://www.noun.edu.ng/ViewAdmittedStudentsSpecial.aspx if NOT FOUND, Visit the nearest study center to you for the submission of your application form and evidence of payment.

3. I am a new applicant and the portal is requesting for my matric number or clearance code
You are in student area. As a new applicant all you need do is to signup with your PIN from the bank. From home page www.noun.edu.ng , click on Application for Admission and Click on signup or use this link http://www.noun.edu.ng/ApplicantsSignon.aspx, to signup and later sign-in with your username and password to complete your application form on this link : http://www.noun.edu.ng/applicantlogin.aspx

4. The portal is rejecting My clearance code
Go back to the study center and copy the correct clearance code
I was given a matric number/password  from the study center, after log in I saw someone else picture
Disregard the matric number Please! It is for someone else, go back to the study center and get a clearance code to signup and get your matric number online, through sign up page on this  link:  http://www.noun.edu.ng/Signon.aspx

5. There is a power failure in the process of filling the application form and I couldn’t continue what do I do?
Just log in back to the website and start all over, if in the process you receive a massage that your PIN has already been used proceed to log in with your User name and password this implies that your signup was successful

6. I have signed up successfully as an applicant but when I tried to log in its rejecting my password
Click on forgot password link, enter your form number; your password will be displayed to you online immediately and at the same time send a copy to your email address.

7. I want to change my programme after printing admission letter
Once you print your admission letter, it means you’ve accepted the offer for that programme, if you need to change your programme, you will have to complete your registration process as a student and later apply for change of course to the school through your study center. 8. I applied on the former portal and was given admission on the new portal My Name is not showing on the Admission Letter, My Programme is not Showing or I was given a wrong admission letter with wrong level.  All issues that may fall within this category;

9. I am a Phd Applicant and I have issues with application

10. My PIN Number is not correct?
Check it very well and be sure that you are using it in a right place on the portal if problem persist re-visit Bank of Purchase

11. I am sure I am qualified for the programme I applied for but the portal does not give me the admission
Send a mail to support@noun.edu.ng with full details and evidences of application for support to look into it and you will get your feed back within 24hours except for weekends

12. The portal is rejecting my password/username
Your username/matric number/password on the old portal is no more valid, signup to create another log in detail. as a first timer on this new portal, log on to www.noun.edu.ng click on  returning students and read all the information on the page carefully OR click directly on this link http://www.noun.edu.ng/Signon.aspx  to signup and later sign in with your supplied information. Matric NO. and Password as required on the portal. If Problem persist  email to support@noun.edu.ng.

13. I was filling my application form, along the line there was a power failure, In another attempt to complete the registration form – The system is telling me PIN has been used.
Proceed to sign-in with your username and password to complete your application form on this link : http://www.noun.edu.ng/applicantlogin.aspx, it means your signup was successful before the failure.

14. I am trying to sign-up as an Applicant; the system is telling me password not match
Enter the same password in the first and second password box, it is for verification purpose

15. The programme I want to study was advertised but not listed in my application form

ADMISSION DENIED

1. I am an HND Graduate, I’m denied admission into direct masters
You are required to go for PGD programme and later apply for masters.

2. I have a very good first degree I am denied admission for Direct Masters in Education
Masters in Education for those who studied education courses in their first degree

3. have Professional qualification; I am denied admission for Direct Masters
Only professional qualification is not enough other criteria are required such as HND, Bs.c etc of a particular grade level.

4. I have HND Lower credit I am denied admission for MBA
Only graduates of HND with Upper credit will be admitted for MBA

7. I am a student/applicant  I forgot my password, how do I get it back?
Click on forgot password link, enter your Matric Number/Application form number; your password will be displayed to you online immediately and at the same time send a copy to your email address.

8. I am now married or due to one reason or the other I want to add/remove/change my name
Apply for change of name  through your study center  and hold on while it is being processed. All such cases are collated in batches and directed to the appropriate channel for verification before reflecting in your new profile on this portal

9. I want to change my password
We are still working on that part of the portal, you may not be able to do that for now

10. If I graduate in NOUN, will NYSC mobilize me for the 1 Year compulsory Youth Service Scheme?
